ADHD Mythbuster

Miss ADHD Mythbuster

Brookley Wofford isn’t just brains and beauty, she’s also a buster…a buster of myths surrounding ADHD that is.

She won the crown as Miss Minnesota United States in 2015, a title that has afforded her many opportunities to give back and connect with her community. Not only is she #oneof15M ,the special designation used in an awareness campaign of Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorders (CHADD), but is also one of their CHADD Champions.

She was honored to participate in their panel at the Annual CHADD Conference in New Orleans this past fall.

  1. This is such a great interview. Thank you both for sharing and helping me feel like I am not alone. I’m so impressed by what you both are doing to erase the stigma of ADHD. Having both bipolar and ADHD, I understand that very well. Bipolar also affects woman differently as well, and their interests need the same kind of voice you both have for ADHD. Fortunately there are some very good voices out there.

I’m a big fan of marketing too, and now I know that that may be a positive of ADHD. That is a good thing!

I really enjoyed this interview. The only problem I have with it is, now I want those Sprinkles Cupcakes in a bad way and I’m about to get my credit card out for some!

    Thank you both again!

    1. Thank you, Bob! Thanks for sharing this.
It is important to know that you aren’t alone. My dad had both bipolar and ADHD; it can definitely be challenging, so give yourself a lot of credit for being open and letting your voice be heard.
I also agree about those cupcakes…look what you’ve started, Brookley!
      🙂 Jennie
