ADHD blogger and podcaster, Tom Nardone, with his wife, Yvonne, are some of my favorite people. Checkout their podcast, The Tom Nardone Show.
I’ve had Tom and his wife on before, see episode 90.
And, in my 100th episode, he came on as my first guest. He’s responsible for the amazing opening soundtrack that was way over the top, but totally awesome!
I asked listeners to write in questions for him to answer, and he was happy to oblige.
The only problem was that I had to edit a lot out to keep the show, overall, closer to an hour.
So, here’s your chance to hear the whole unedited version of Tom’s segment.
Tom wasn’t always a podcaster. In fact, he first rose to fame as an ADHD blogger.
Here’s an excerpt from, I am Tom Nardone, and I am ADD.
“I have spoken to a lot of parents, who have children with ADD. They all have at least one thing in common; they all care about their children. I categorize them into two groups; those that medicate, and those who do not medicate. I fully agree with those who medicate, and I understand the skepticism for those that don’t.
I am Tom Nardone. When I was growing up I can remember back to some of the things that were done or said to me as a result of being ADD. I had a real hard time understanding simple instructions, because I could not quiet my own mind long enough to listen when they were given.”
He’s also such a good writer he’s written a book, Chasing Kites. I recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic account of growing up with undiagnosed ADHD.
